The "pasture-green puddle of puréed fava beans" is more up my ally as a vegetarian, but I have to say all of these pictures look mouth-watering. The other night I had some fresh lasagna bolognese made entirely from scratch by a nice famiglia bolognese, and in the process of swooning over it I temporarily forgot that Bologna = Red Meat Central. I remembered that once I bit into it, but that initial bite was so unearthly good I made a deal with the Devil and licked my plate clean. I feel like I would do the same in the presence of these Sicilian goodies.

Some of these restaurants are fantastic. So is this blog. It's refreshing to find something of this quality written by a real author and not an anonymous blogger. V.
