…
… of a house in deepest Sicily?
… of clouds and earth and stone?

Of lying under a fig tree with days wide as an ocean?
…
Dream away…

There are so many broken-down homes in Southeast Sicily waiting to be tamed. Waiting and waiting for you.

Oh, yes, I’m dreaming…..but I think I am dreaming of a home in Sicily that someone has already tamed!!
Ha ha, Sandee–that’s taking the easy way out, but come on down!!
Wow, I am very glad that I found this blog! It is nice to see such beautiful pictures of where my ancestors came from. Bookmarked, and I will return often to see more.
Thanks, Paul. I just looked at your blog. Astounding photos! The cat on the cupboard–wow back to you!
Si’, Si’, Si’ e Si’…..scegli una per me! salgo su il prossimo aereo e arrivo fra poco!
va bene va bene trovero una per te, melissa.
You’re not about to start an estate agency, are you?
Ha, Heiko–that would be a negative!
Isn’t it interesting how we are each drawn to different places, romance them, feel at home in them? I wonder about those connections. I wonder, Jann, what deep prompting caused you to commit to a house in Ragusa Ibla, to learn Italian, to go through the grueling process of renovation in an ancient village on a remote island nearly half a world away from you home?
It’s snowing now, plus it’s windy and cold thus I enjoy your photos hundredfold. What a magic smell of wild flowers! Thank you for the pleasure to view and to love…
