Just got back from vacation this morning and found these wonderful photos. They reminded me of the time we stopped in Francofonte to visit a friend who had a garden with blood oranges. They were sooooooo delicious, we couldn’t stop feasting on them. Wonderful memory!
Ciao Jo–thanks for commenting.
Jann, these captures are gorgeous! They totally inspire a person to hop on a plane and head on over to Sicily where we can witness this living color in person! I for one would be happy to drive around while I’m there in that tiny Fiat! How cute is that!
Yes, a flame-colored Fiat would perfectly suit your fiery personality, Bella 🙂
Great pics as usual Jann! I agree with Louciao!! Your pictures help me to imagine the warm sun on my face….while all I see outside here are huge mounds of snow…..
Thank you Cathy. It’s March! Just another week or two or three, and your snow will be all gone (I hope!)
gotta eat an orange
Not a lollipop?
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I have to go find SOMETHING orange-flavored to eat right away!
Hope you can dig up something orange, Sam.
Hot hot hot!
Please forgive me for what I am about to say:
Knock knock!
Who’s there?
Orange.
Orange who?
Orange you glad you live in Sicily?
I, for one, am certainly glad that you do, as I get to witness the beauty and quirkiness of the place through your camera lens.
Tee hee, louciao :). Thanks for your poetry!
Wow, great photos! My favorite color was always blue, but as I’ve gotten older I think I’ve grown into my Leo-ness: Little by little I have re-decorated my home in lots in shades of orange/red/gold–fiery, leonine colors. Hope to get to Sicily soon. (After all, we’re not really THAT far away!)
Thanks, Diane. Let me know if you get to Southeast Sicily!
