I’m struggling to choose… I like the men by the stairs but I really like the 4 older gents walking along… Can almost hear them talking ….and for some reason I think somewhere there is a probably a similiar picture of these same 4 gents as young lads, doing the same thing 😉 Walking along, being friends…
Thanks for commenting, Cathy. Yes, no doubt those 4 guys have been buddies since elementary school…
I think I want to move to Sicily to grow into an old woman. Have portabanana, will travel!
My favourite picture here is of the gents reading the notice: the stances with the hands in the pocket, the largely gesticulating man (or the large man gesticulating). It’s such a natural moment, brimming with charm and character.
Yes, I don’t know why old women in Sicily are so picturesque…
Numero otto per me. Che bella!
OK, Don, 8 it is! Thanks for your input.
I have to go with the third from the top, the picture of the four women seated around an imaginary circle because it suggests a meeting, a serious exchange, and, also, food—the apron on the woman half-turned to us. This is my favorite Sicilian Gang of Four.
Thanks for your vote, Susan!
Jann, they’re all so good, it’s hard to pick a favorite! If pressed, I would select the third photo which features the four charming ladies gathered in a circle! Lovely!
Thanks for your input, Bella!
You’ve made an impossible task for us, but I have to go with le quattro nonne (third photo). Loved them all.
Ciao Bonnie, thanks for your comment.
I’d have to go with the four understudies from “Sex & the City” in that last photo.
OK, Sam, duly noted!
