So Italian. So beautiful. So touching. Lovely lovely capture!
How beautifully crisp and clean everything is! And the colors… so right!
Jann,
I looooooooooove this photo.
I immediately thought of this poem by William Carlos Williams
**so much depends upon a red wheel barrow
glazed with rain water
beside the white chickens.**

Hi Cmilli! Welcome to this blog, and thanks so much for your sweetness.
How sweet! You always manage to be in the right places. Brava, Jann!
Anitre–I wish! Usually I’m not in the right place at the right time and I see a shot I missed and think if only I’d been a little closer, a little faster, a little braver… xxx
….walking the yellow brick road. Perfect capture Jann. great colour. Everything is as it should be. Grazie ancora cara. xx
Grazie a te, Janine. You inspire me.
Fab, fab, fab xx
Thanks Narelle. xxx
I especially like all the converging perspective lines in this photo.
Hmm, Sam. You’re right about the converging lines. I know when I like a photo, but it’s hard for me to analyze, so thanks for making me see that.
What can I say , but just lovely. I love how you see life.
Vicki
Vicki thank you. Sometimes I forget that the photos we take do represent one’s view of life. Thanks for reminding me.
Jann, this is one of my favorite photos of yours! I Love everything about it!
Well thanks, Sandee dear. xxxxxxxxx
Such a magic moment captured here. I love waking up to your photos Jann.
You’re so sweet, Francesca. Thanks for your comment.
Wow… Jann, this photo is absolutely amazing!
xxxx Grazie, Ria. xxxx
Beautiful, Jann. Makes me wonder where they’re going — to market, perhaps, or maybe to church?
Debbie, they’re right next to a church, so that’s probably where they’re going. But once a week there’s a big outdoor market that surrounds this church–guys hawking women’s undies right next to the church door.
This one looks like a gentle watercolor. Lovely colors and image. Brava.
Thanks so much for this comment Rosann. xxx
Super image as always. You make it look so simple as if You just have to show up to record great pic after great pic. Well done!
You’re too kind, Alan. So happy you dropped by.
I SO LOVE this photo. It has so much movement and light—I can see the woman in her walk, in the bend of her back, the rimming light on her shoulders and head, the way her supporting cast of one leans into her, the subtleties of color on the old wall, like a fresco of the woman’s soul. Such a story you’ve given us. Thank you, Jann!
Susan, I SO LOVE the poetry you put to the picture. Thank you.
wonderful photo Jann.
Appreciate you stopping by, Ron.
